Oh no, I don’t have enough uploading space in the blog already.. Think it’s time to set up another blog already…. Timing just nice.. when nn turns 2. hehe

Happy birthday to Reyes and counting down 4 more days to Nn’s big day! =) It never fail to make me smile whenever I see the both of them together. I wonder if they can be good friends when they grow up.

Friday… Saturday… Sunday!! Bintan Bintan here we come.. But! this part of Bintan is not the usual place where we always go. It’s gonna take us 1hr 45mins ferry to reach. =( I am praying hard that the weather is going to be fine so I won’t puke!

No matter how fast she can turn into a devil, she is still my pretty precious angel. Guess all parents think the same. Now, we are counting down to NN’s birthday trip to Bintan. 11 more days and we will be out of here. I hope we can go to Japan again to celebrate next year! =)

Lucky we did not go to the Zoo!! It was scorching hot then rained cats and dogs. But we certainly should visit the zoo soon. Nn will be happy to see all the animals. =)

As we were enjoying our walk at Science Centre, a friend called. We were talking about bb’s class splitting next year and she brought up that her daughter told her that BB got 3rd in class. We were all thrilled and excited and happy. I could see that bb’s eyes really brightened up.

But as I tried to verify this with her form teacher, I realised that it was the wrong info. Perhaps she heard it wrongly, I don’t know. But this news definitely brought bb down to her lowest trough of the day. sigh…

Now that the schools are not revealing the positions of the students other than top 3, we seriously don’t know where she stands. But today I got a hint from her teacher she is in the top 10. Am I satisfied with her results? I don’t know. Her SA2 results are still ok I supposed?

English paper 1 – 9/10
English paper 2 – 53.5/55
Show and tell – 8/10

Maths – 77.5/80

Chinese paper 1 – 10/10
Chinese paper 2  - 49/50
Oral n pic conversation – 10/10

I think what has dragged her results down are those mini tests and etc. sigh.. At least she has improved from last year.

 

All bb’s concert costumes are going to b put into good use. lol.. While all of them are still over-sized, NN won’t have to worry about what to wear for her racial harmony day when she goes to school. =)

After Halloween, it’s NN’s birthday in Nov! This time, we are going to Bintan with Jomaine.. And prob Zavier. =) And then, it will be Xmas! And…… CNY. haha.. Hong Kong.. In 3 months’ time. I can’t wait to eat the egg tarts, the roadside stalls!!!!!! Oh dear, I am drooling already! arghh..

She was toothless not long ago! She was crawling with 1 leg up not long ago! She was screaming on top of her voice clenching her fist not long ago! She was waddling like a duck not long ago! She was blabbering mummy not long ago!

Now, she will ask to play my iphone, ipad. She has her preference of her favourite cartoon character. She is diaper-less at home in the day time. She is begining to speak in sentences. (though her 1st sentence was “不要daddy抱抱”) lol.. She is growing up so fast. She is turning 2 years old next month! And soon, she will be going to nursery. NN ah NN, can you not grow up so fast? I will miss the silly baby..

It always never fails to sadden me with children suffering.. Really breaks my heart.

Firstly, my dear Jomaine was sick n admitted to hospital for a week! She had a swell on her left jaw near her ear. Doc did scan for her and spotted liquid in the lumps. What are those? What caused those?? Bacteria! But how to prevent and etc etc? Oral medicine was not strong enough for her so she had to be put on IV! My poor girl was crying in pain n fear all the days when she was on IV! Finally she could return home after a week followed by a week’s of oral antibiotic BUT the medicine didn’t seem to work on her! Her mummy told me that the swell seems to be getting red n even more swollen again!!!  =( Please get well soon my dear Jo…

Secondly was the news on the China toddler, yue yue! She was only 2 years old and she was run over by 2 vehicles and 19 passerbys walked past without helping her!!! What has the world come to? It really gives me another reason to dislike China people! Stereotype or whatever it is, I really can’t stand such inhuman society!

Thirdly was the case of Charmaine, the feisty princess. It was a very very sad case. I always feel like crying when I think of her. She was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer when she was 4. She had to face and go through all the suffering at such young age. Such small and fragile body. She should be jumping and monkeying around. Not in and out the hospital, screaming in pain, etc. Life is very very cruel to her n her mummy. =(

I really cannot imagine myself seeing bb/nn suffer. I will probably end up in mental hospital! Charmaine and her mummy were very brave and strong. I really look upon the both of them. This also reminds me that the most important thing in life is being happy n healthy.

Now that Charmaine is gone, I hope she is smiling and dancing happily in heaven. Rest in peace, little feisty princess.

Good news! BB is going to have another performance next June at NUS! It’s for the piano festival. But her teacher has not decided on the songs yet. It’s really a good exposure for her! And after her grade 1 exam, she is going to start on grade 3. Not a bad progress I guess. I am so proud of her! =)

I didn’t manage to persevere for my piano in the past. I hope bb will be able to. I know she will be able to. =)
